Remi Brignac

... while attending Louisiana State University where he initially studied Architecture and then switched to Business after deciding to make insurance his life-long career. Remi grew up in an insurance family. 

As a boy, Remi watched his father create, nourish, and grow a private passenger automobile insurance company from scratch. So in the back of his mind, Remi always knew if the Architecture dream never came to fruition, the insurance industry would get all of his attention. Shortly after starting his insurance career, Remi and his agency landed a contract with one of the largest independent insurance companies in the country, Aetna. At a young age of 20, Remi was, if not the youngest, one of the youngest insurance agents for Aetna at the time.

Remi has been a “hands-on” operator of his agency on a daily basis creating a well-known agency, The Brignac Group, in the community while providing loyalty and integrity to all its clients and neighbors alike.
Remi, a 30 plus year veteran of the industry, received his “Certified Insurance Counselor” designation back in 2001 issued by the National Alliance for Insurance, Education and Research, the nation’s foremost provider of professional insurance and education. 

Remi proudly served as a “Louisiana Education Committee” member for countless years for The National Alliance. Continued education is must in order to stay on top of the insurance industries growing changes to adapt to the client’s rapidly changing exposures. Remi is currently working toward obtaining his “Certified Risk Management” designation.

The insurance industry provided a wonderful opportunity for Remi to marry his high-school sweetheart, Chris, in which they were blessed with 2 wonderful children, Lauryn and Beau. Chris recently joined the agency in 2017.
